Get Well Card

My boyfriend's grandmother recently underwent surgery so I made her a little card to wish her the best with her recovery! I also got to use my new BIG SHOT!

I used the Top Note die for the Big Shot for the green and beige (although it looks white with the flash). The flowers are a 2 step stamp set from the Sale A Bration (Botanical Blooms). The words are from the newly retired Elegant Cheer stamp set.
For the grass, I used a sponge. I also sponged all around the edges.

Colors: Certainly Celery, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum

Scrapbook: Avery in her Bumbo

Here's my coinciding page to my last post. Its of Avery (my daughter) in her Bumbo at 3 1/2 weeks old!

I used the same colors and stamp set as my last post. The letters were made using the "Best Friends" alphabet stamp set and circle punches.

I only used 8 1/2 x 11 card stock for these 2 pages! The ribbon and green border cover up where my lines were from adding new paper.

The bow was something I had a hard time with for a while but then I got creative. I cut 1 small strip (that became the bow) and tied it around the long piece that was the length of my page (12 x 12). Then I tucked the 2 ends under and used sticky strip tape to glue them down. I love the way it turned out! And no having to retie the ribbon 20xs!

Another scrapbook page!

Here's another scrapbook page I just finished this morning of Avery and I when she was 3 weeks old. Wow how time flies!

I have NO idea why its going sideways! It is not like that on my computer and I have tried several times to fix it so just flip your heads for a minute.
For this one I used:
Colors: Tempting Turquoise, Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White
Stamp Set: Polka Dot Punches (Sale a Bration set 2009)
Accessories: Ticket punch, eyelet border punch, corner rounder

Getting into Scrapbook mode!

After a year of trying to get rolling on Avery's scrapbook, I have finally began working on it again! She's 18 months old and I am still working on pictures from her first month! I am changing styles from the rest of her scrapbook and am so excited about how these new pages look! I will upload some old ones later but for now here's 2 coordinating pages I did yesterday

On the left are Avery with Kallie and Zack and on the right is Avery with her friend Jaelynn.

Now for the details! I consider this page very basic. There's no stamping! The letters were made using my new BIG SHOT! I put some brads next to the words. I am pretty obsessive with my ticket punch (all pictures of her and Jaelynn). The border on the left was made with the scallop border punch. For colors I used pretty in pink, chocolate chip, and so saffron. I can't wait to do more!

Cards from a card class

Here are 2 cards that we made at a card class that I had at my house.

This one was made with the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set. I apologize for the blurriness but I tried several times to take a picture of this card and this was the best I got!

This card I absolutely love! I got the idea from splitcoast but made it into my own. The stamp set for the flowers was the Itty Bitty Buds hostess stamp set from the 2008- 2009 catalogs. The words were from the Fundamental Phrases stamp set.

Duck Card

This card was made using the stamping pastels and blender pens. The duck and wagon are part of the Wagon Full of Fun stamp set (retired) from the Occasions Mini Catalog 2009. Although time consuming, I absolutely love how it came out! I felt very artistic.

Cards from Retirement Party

Here are the 4 cards I had for make and takes at my retirement party in June.

A thank you card using the now retired Elegant Thank You stamp that was part of the under $10 collection. The bow is a faux bow using a punch. Colors are Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Creamy Caramel.

Birthday card using the Wagon Full of Fun stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog 2009.

Another birthday card using the Darling Dots hostess stamp set from the Spring- Summer 2009 catalog. The happy birthday is still available in the All Holidays stamp set.

A general card using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (available) and the Elegant Cheer stamp set (retired June 2009).

All of the cards were prepared to be simple enough that people of all stamping backgrounds could complete them independently. They were set up at stations. Everyone added their own special touch to their cards using other stamps in the stamp sets. All of the cards came out beautiful!
